Heriot-Watt University Dubai Campus is situated approximately 20 minutes from the business district of Dubai, on the Academic City Road. Phase 1 of the campus comprises of a three-storey building hosting numerous classrooms, IT lab facilities, electronic engineering labs, a library and fashion and interior design studios. It also harbors sports facilities including basketball, tennis and volleyball courts.

Phase 2 of the Campus offers a range of facilities for the students, namely a 700-seat auditorium, an indoor games room, a food court, a gymnasium, a convenience store, a quiet study area for the ease of the students and on-campus male and female student accommodation.

The Dubai Campus provides students with a supportive and positive learning environment which will enable then to fully utilize their time at the University. They offer a variety of support services, and their understanding faculty are able to give students all the advice, support and information they need.

VISION is a web-based integrated teaching and learning environment available to the entire student body at the Dubai Campus, which contains many courses, lecture notes and assignments.

The Student Council is represents the entire student body at the Dubai Campus. Every year, students elect a Student President, who is the chair of all the meetings, and is also on most of the high level committees of the campus. This to allow students’ opinions to be given due diligence within the current University matters; everyone’s opinion will be expressed through the student representation structure and general meetings. The Council works to establish social and academic unity among the students, which they accomplish by promoting activities within the campus.

The Academic Scholars groups are participated in by students, which provide self-help sessions for fellow students who require additional academic support.

The University’s award winning Careers Advisory Service provides one of the most extensive and comprehensive careers education and professional development programmes of any higher education institution in the UK.

Careers service staff are available throughout your studies, ensuring you have the skills you need to successfully market yourself to future employers. Student development is enhanced through open sessions to encourage and facilitate them through their learning programme. Workshops are based on topics such as plagiarism, exam stress management, time management to wide range of other developmental areas.

• A special International Student Scholarship of up to 50% of the tuition fee - offered to a maximum of 50 students.
• A scholarship of up to 30% of the tuition fee – offered up to 30 students who have excelled in any sport at the national or international level.
• A scholarship of up to 30% of the tuition fee – offered up to 30 students who have excelled in any community engagement activities at the national or international level.
• A variety of Merit Scholarships are offered, which will be calculated on the net tuition fee of the first year after deducting any existing scholarships/discounts.
