Automotive Engineering – BEng (Hons)

Bachelors in Automotive Engineering provides practical knowledge which is directly applicable to the automotive industry’s modern-day requirements. It enable students to become credible, confident and precious member of any professional team.

It blends a study of design, drivetrain, vehicle frame and engineering structures with modelling and simulation work, as well as key business and expert themes.

The course is accredited via the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) as an educational requirement closer to Chartered Engineer status (CEng). 

The School of Engineering, Design and Manufacturing Systems has sturdy academic and studies links with commercial enterprise and industry, inclusive of Morgan Motor Company, and works with globally respected technology partners. 

The distinct feature is that it offers advanced automobile workshops and laboratories for theoretical studying, inclusive of CNC, 3D scanning and speedy prototype facilities, engine check labs.  Moreover, it also has an optional sandwich placement in Year 2.
