Medical and radiological specialists work in many different fields related to human health to improve health. They are familiar with the characteristics of ionizing radiation and non-ionizing radiation used in radiation therapy. They are familiar with the different treatments of radiation oncology and different imaging modalities, and the ways in which such radiation interact with the human body. Get acquainted with exciting new technologies for radiation therapy that have been developed for the advancement of human disease. The Bachelor of Medical and Radiation Physics is very handy with the major elements that apply to all subjects studied to achieve pre-conceptual goals.
To ensure the highest level of industry involvement, trained medical professionals from major hospitals and industry keynote speakers will deliver keynote presentations and work, as well as jointly manage research projects. to laboratories who work before graduation, and to make field trips to fast-moving institutions such as the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organization (ANSTO). For the third year, you will also have practical experience in electron and x-ray medical physics related to the Cancer Treatment Center and ANSTO.
You will receive graduate degrees in physics and theoretical, practical and radiological skills required to obtain employment in hospitals, research centers or related industries. If you continue your studies towards a Master's degree, you will learn about Nuclear Medicine, Radiobiology and Radiation Protection at hospitals.
